Joseph Chromy, Jr.

Joseph G. Chromy, Jr. is the Principal at Momentum Business Strategies (Momentum) based in Somerville, Massachusetts.

In 2002, Mr. Chromy started Momentum Business Strategies to provide business and operational development services to companies across the United States. Momentum is an established provider of business solutions serving small to mid-sized businesses specifically focused in full-service development, call center and technology providers. Momentum’s experience, combined with the right technology, help its clients succeed in their chosen markets.

Mr. Chromy has more than 25 years of operational, sales and marketing experience in the education loan collection industry with a long history serving Guaranty Agencies, Lenders and Universities as a third party collection service provider. He is an acknowledged collection industry leader with a successful history building collection agencies, vertical markets and operational infrastructures. Mr. Chromy was a key individual helping build a national collection agency to more than $17 million in yearly revenue and 650 employees and in the first 9 years in business.

Mr. Chromy is a detail-oriented professional whose core competencies span finance, credit risk scoring, collection, sales and marketing, and information technology fields. These core competencies include product and market development, risk management, default prevention servicing and collection of high risk private and federal student loan portfolios in excess of $6 billion. He specializes in building strategic plans and the implementation of best-in-class collection centric solutions. He uses his knowledge of collection techniques and design, software, data analysis, telephony, and business process management to enhance core competencies of all employees and business units. Additionally, he creates cost effective infrastructures for market analytics, business, and sales planning supporting all stages of the sales cycle through operational integration.
